Is it really that big of a deal though? I mean, you got the parts made eventually, right? Guessing for three years sounds like more of a headache than it needs to be, but in the end, it worked out. I feel like people overthink this stuff sometimes. If it cuts clean and the part doesn't break, who really cares if your feed rate is a little off?

Three years seems about right. I spent that long just guessing my chiploads on aluminum before someone told me I was running way too slow. Now I just add 10% to whatever the calculator says and call it good.
