Had a nightmare week with a worn out collet chuck on the Haas
Last Tuesday I kept getting .005 off on my parts and I couldn't figure out why. Turns out the collet chuck was worn to hell and gripping unevenly. Has anyone else dealt with a collet that just gives up mid-week like that?

Did you check the drawbar tension first or just jump straight to chuck replacement?

My buddy Mike had the exact same issue on his 2019 VF-2. He was chasing .003 of runout for like three days before he realized it was the collet chuck letting go.
