Just came back from an old shop visit and saw something scary on their lathe setup

I stopped by a buddy's place in Toledo yesterday, and the way he had his coolant nozzles aimed was blasting chips straight into the spindle bearings. Anybody else catch this kind of thing at other shops and call it out or just keep walking?

Yeah tell me about it @sam_rivera. I once tried to "fix" my buddy's home theater setup and accidentally turned his whole living room into a blue screen of death for an hour. At least I didn't have to watch his collection of bootleg DVDs on a CRT TV, so I guess that's a win. Your story makes me feel like a tech wizard in comparison, even though I still can't figure out how to program my own thermostat without a manual.
