Just realized most coolant concentrates are 50% water already, check your mixing

I was looking at the safety data sheet on a new jug of Trim MicroSol 585XT last night and noticed the ingredient list. It says water is like 40-50% of the concentrate itself. So when the bottle says mix 5-10% concentration, that's already watered down. Been over-mixing for years probably. Anyone else catch this on their brand's spec sheet?

Does the water already count toward the mix ratio or nah?

Oh man, I'm gonna play devil's advocate here and say no way, it doesn't count. You're mixing it in, so it's part of the wet ingredients now, not just plain water.
