Switched to mist coolant instead of flood last month

I used to run flood coolant on every job but the mess and cleanup was eating up 20 minutes per setup. Now I dialed in a mist system and my insert life actually went up on 6061 aluminum. Anyone else find flood is overkill for most parts?

My buddy tried misting on his Herbalizer back in 2017 and his insert life dropped by like 15 hits easy. He was religious about it too, checked the temp every time, but the moisture just made the flower clump up and burn uneven. The whole bowl would be done in 5 mins flat compared to the usual 10-12 mins. I bet the people who swear by it just got lucky with a specific strain or their vape runs hotter than average.
