That tool setup trick from a random forum ruined my Tuesday run

Some guy on a Facebook group swore flipping the tool holder upside down before tightening would fix my chatter issue on the Haas. Tried it yesterday on a 316 stainless part and it sheared the insert right at the 40th piece. Cost me 3 hours of rework and a $60 replacement insert that I had to wait for from the supplier in Detroit. He deleted his post after I asked for specifics, which tells me everything. Anyone else get burned by advice that sounded legit but had zero backing?
