Trainee freaked out when the tool changer danced on its own
Had a new guy on the night shift last week. He was running a Okuma lathe for the first time. Must have fat-fingered the M-code for the tool changer. Thing started cycling tools non-stop. Looked like a robot doing the cha-cha. Whole crew gathered around laughing. Took us a minute to realize the emergency stop was jammed. Had to pull the main breaker to shut it down. What's the weirdest glitch you've seen a machine do?

Imagine being that new guy, watching his mistake become the floor show. Must have felt his soul leave his body while everyone pointed and laughed.
