Vent: the tool crib guy in Dayton told me to stop hogging the good indicators, and he was right
I had been grabbing the same 0.0005 indicator every setup for like two months. He caught me walking off with it again last Thursday and just said "you know the cheap one reads fine for roughing, right?" I felt dumb. Tried it on the next three jobs and the cheap one was within a tenth every time. Now I leave the good one for the guys doing real finish work. What do you all keep on your own cart versus what stays in the crib?
