Why everyone's so obsessed with climb milling for finishing cuts, I call it lazy

I've run the same 4140 part at 3 shops in 5 years and conventional milling with a slower feed gives me a better surface finish every single time, so has anyone else dumped climb cutting after a bad chatter session or do I just have weird machines?
