Just realized I spent 3 months typing every line of code by hand instead of using copy paste

I was watching a YouTube tutorial last Tuesday and the guy just hit Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V to reuse a block of code. I sat there feeling dumb because I had been retyping the same 8 lines over and over for weeks thinking that was how you were supposed to learn. Turns out I was just wasting time and making more typos. Does anyone else have a moment where they figured out a basic shortcut way later than they should have?
