Overheard a kid say he learned Python from making Minecraft mods

Yeah that's not quite how it works with Minecraft mods. They're written in Java, not Python, so the kid either mixed up his languages or was using something like a Python wrapper that barely counts as actual modding. Still cool that he's learning to code though, just gotta get the facts straight.

Whoa wait, I actually read something about this recently. There was this thing called "Raspberry Jam" or something that lets kids use Python to mod Minecraft on the Raspberry Pi edition. But yeah, the real Minecraft Java Edition is definitely all Java. I think the kid probably saw a YouTube video about Python mods and got excited. Still though, getting into coding at that age is what matters, even if he got the details jumbled.
