That 2019 campground wifi still haunts my CLI attempts

Tbh, last week I realized my whole approach to debugging comes from punching curl commands into a hotel lobby terminal near Niagara Falls three years ago, and I still don't know if that's a win or a bad habit, has anyone else learned to code in spots where the connection drops every 90 seconds?

Flip it around. That crappy wifi probably forced you to actually understand what you were sending instead of just firing off requests and praying. Half the devs I know can't debug without autocomplete holding their hand, so getting comfortable staring at raw output and error codes in a dark hotel lobby might be the best skill you picked up. Plus, you learned to read timeouts and retry logic without even realizing it, that's pure muscle memory now. Be thankful you didn't start somewhere with fiber, you'd be lost the moment your network hiccups in production. That Niagara Falls trip probably did more for you than any tutorial.
