That $40 online course I bought was a total waste of money

Picked up a Python course on Udemy for $40 a couple months back. The guy spent half the videos rambling about his career history instead of showing actual code. I learned more from free YouTube tutorials in two days. Anyone else buy a course that just felt like a waste of cash?

Same thing happened to me with a "masterclass" on web development. The guy spent like 20 minutes talking about his desk setup before he even opened a code editor. Ended up refunding it through Udemy's policy and watched a free series on YouTube from some kid who explained everything way better. Sometimes those paid courses are just padding their hours to look legit.
