Threw $45 down the drain on a coding bootcamp prep course

I bought this prep course on Udemy for $45 thinking it would get me ready for a full bootcamp. But it just reviewed basic HTML and CSS that I already knew from free YouTube tutorials. The actual projects were way too simple, like building a contact form with no backend. Has anyone else paid for a prep course that felt like a total waste of time compared to free stuff online?

Used to defend paid prep courses but that contact form project proved me wrong.

What was the breaking point on the contact form project, was it the validation or the actual submission part? Honestly, I had a similar moment when I realized a $30 Udemy course taught me more than a $500 bootcamp.
