A regular at my shop just flipped my whole milk steaming routine after 4 years
He watched me steam a pitcher and said 'you're heating the pitcher, not the milk, that's why it's always thin' and honestly that one sentence made me recalibrate everything I do before 7am. Has anyone else had a random customer or regular drop a tip that completely rewired their daily workflow?

Took me four years and a stranger to realize Ive been making lukewarm froth for people who probably hated it. Guess my milk thermometer and I were both just going through the motions.
