Back from Guatemala and the coffee rituals there blew my mind
I was in Antigua last month and visited a family-run farm. They showed us how they dry the beans on patios under the sun. The coffee we tasted had this crazy fruity note I've never had before. The whole experience was amazing, lmao.

Antigua's sun-dried beans really do change the flavor.

Yeah, my buddy went to a place like that and they actually let him help turn the beans on the patio... said the heat coming off the ground was crazy. He brought some back and we did a side-by-side with our usual store stuff... it was like drinking two totally different drinks. That sun-drying thing they do really pulls out those wild fruit flavors you just don't get otherwise. Makes the whole big-brand coffee taste kinda flat now, honestly.
