Finally tried a pour-over vs my Aeropress side by side

I did a taste test with the same beans from a local roaster called Sightglass in SF. The pour-over was way cleaner and brighter, the Aeropress was muddier even with the same grind. Has anyone else ditched their Aeropress after trying a V60 or am I alone on this?

lol "muddier" is a nice way of putting it, my Aeropress shots usually taste like I'm drinking wet cardboard with a hint of coffee. I broke my V60 carafe the other day and had to go back to the Aeropress for a week and honestly it felt like I was punishing myself for something.

Hell yeah, same here - Aeropress just tastes like dirty sock water compared to a proper V60.
