Had to pick between a $15 hand grinder and a $60 refurbished electric one at a garage sale in Toledo
I was at this garage sale last month in Toledo and saw two grinders: a cheap hand crank one for $15 and a beat up electric Cuisinart for $60. I went with the electric since I usually make 4 cups at a time, but the blades are super loud and inconsistent. Has anyone else regretted a coffee gear choice based on price alone?

Oh man, @robin836 called it, cheap electric grinders really do just smash the beans into dust. I'd take the hand grinder next time for sure.
