Shoutout to switching from a blade grinder to a burr grinder for my morning pour-over

I finally swapped out my old Krups blade grinder for a Baratza Encore about 3 months ago, and the difference in my cup of coffee is wild. Before, I'd get these bitter, uneven sips from my V60, but now the grind is so consistent that the flavor actually balances out. Has anyone else noticed a huge jump in quality just from upgrading their grinder alone?

3 months with my Encore and I still can't believe I wasted like 5 years on a blade grinder. My first pour over after the swap was so clear I almost cried, but then I remembered I paid $140 for a grinder and cried again. The fines from the blade grinder would clog my V60 filter every time, now my brew times are actually consistent and not like a science experiment gone wrong. I told my buddy who still uses a blade grinder that his coffee tastes like dirt water and he got mad at me lol. Seriously though, once you taste coffee that isn't full of little bitter dust particles you can never go back.

Hold up, is it really that serious though? I mean, I get that the Encore is better than a blade grinder, but are we really crying over coffee clarity?
