That barista at Starbucks who called me out for adding sugar to my black coffee
Was at a Starbucks in Austin last Tuesday and this older barista saw me dumping two sugar packets into my pour-over. She just shook her head and said 'you're killing the whole point of that single origin.' Been drinking it black ever since and honestly she was right about the flavor difference. Anyone else had a stranger change how you drink coffee?

She's right. I was the same way till a roaster talked me into tasting it straight.
