The time my pour over exploded in front of my boss
I was showing off my new V60 at work last Tuesday, using the fancy scale and everything. Right as I started the bloom, the whole thing tipped over and sent hot coffee and grounds flying across my desk and onto my boss's white shirt. He just stood there dripping coffee while I stood there with an empty kettle. Has anyone else had a brewing method go spectacularly wrong at the worst possible moment?

Wait, it got on his white shirt? That's like the worst possible color for a coffee explosion... I would've just frozen solid right there. My boss would probably fire me on the spot if I did that, but at least you got a funny story out of it.

Honestly never thought about how the V60's open design makes it a ticking time bomb compared to an Aeropress or something with a sealed top. That single point of failure on an uneven desk is just asking for disaster.
