The week my espresso machine died on Monday morning
After 5 years of daily use, my Gaggia just gave up the ghost last Monday at 7am. Had to choke down gas station coffee for 3 days while the repair shop ordered a new pump. Has anyone else had their machine fail at the worst possible time?

gave up the ghost" lol perfect way to put it. My buddy Dave had his Breville die on him right before a big family brunch, like 20 mins before people showed up. He had to run to the corner store for instant coffee and just told everyone it was a "special French blend" or something. Took like a week to get the replacement part in, and he said drinking that instant stuff almost made him cry every morning. He still jokes about it being the darkest timeline of his coffee life.
