The $4 mesh bag that fixed my gritty cold brew problem

I kept getting sludge at the bottom of my jars no matter how fine I ground. After 3 batches I grabbed a cheap reusable mesh bag meant for nuts at the grocery store. I just pour the grounds in, tie it off, and drop it in the steep container. It's way easier to clean than my old cheesecloth setup. Has anyone else switched from a filter to a bag and noticed a smoother finish?
