Found a 1920s map of a town that never existed

I was digging through a box of old books at an estate sale last Saturday and found a map labeled 'New Bedford, Colorado' dated 1923. Looked it up after I got home - no town, no records, nothing. Somebody just drew a whole fake place. Whats the weirdest made-up map you guys have stumbled across?

omg i had something similar happen with a map of a "town" called Eldorado in nevada that supposedly had a train station but nope, nothing there. ended up finding out some old dude just drew it for fun in the 40s and it got mixed up with real maps somehow. weirdest random hobby ever but kinda cool.

Misspelled my own street name once in a Google Maps edit and it took me three weeks to notice. Your mileage may vary, but I swear my brain just autocompletes things to whatever makes sense at the time. That's pretty funny about the old guy though, takes dedication to fake a whole town just for kicks.
