A weird thing I saw at the local comic shop last month

I was at The Dragon's Hoard in Springfield last month, and I noticed something new. A group of four people, all in their 20s, were just sitting at a table in the back, not really looking at comics. They were all on their phones, talking about some movie trailer. The owner told me later they come in every Wednesday, buy nothing, and just hang out for an hour. It's like the shop is their free lounge now. Has anyone else seen this kind of thing happening where you go?

The Dragon's Hoard owner still gets their rent paid, right?

Exactly, and that's the whole point elizabetht56. The landlord gets their money no matter what, so the risk is all on the small business owner. I saw the same thing happen to a little bookshop in my old neighborhood. It makes you wonder who these rules are really written for.

Yeah, but only if the business can pay, like knight.xena said.
