Blew a fuse at a convention in Dallas trying to get a sketch from a popular artist
I was standing in line for 3 hours at the Dallas Fan Expo to get a quick sketch from Jim Lee, and when I finally got to the front, my phone died and I lost the reference photo I wanted him to draw from. I panicked and tried to describe it, but he just looked at me funny and told me to step aside. Has anyone else had a situation fall apart right at the moment you were supposed to meet your favorite artist?

Man 3 hours is rough but people act like Jim Lee is gonna remember your face or care tomorrow. He's done literally millions of sketches at cons, you're just another guy in a long line to him. Plus you can just pull up the same reference on a laptop or borrow someone's phone in line next time. Honestly seems like you dodged a bullet spending money on a rushed 2 minute sketch anyway.
