Comic con food choices splitting my fan group

At our last big convention, some of us brought fruit and sandwiches to save money and eat better. Others called us boring and lived on pizza and soda all weekend. I see their point about enjoying the event without stress, but I felt sluggish by day two. Where do you stand on balancing fun and health at these things?

Since when does fun food have to make you feel awful later?

Wait, but hear me out @michael_fisher55... sometimes the whole point IS the guilty pleasure. That gross feeling afterwards is part of the deal, like a reminder you actually lived a little. If rich, crazy food didn't mess with you, it wouldn't feel like a real treat. Our bodies are just telling us we went off road, and that's okay for a minute.

So the "gross feeling" is the goal, not just a side effect, @michael_fisher55?
