Free comic book day chaos taught me to bring a backup list everywhere

Went to the big shop on 5th Ave last month for Free Comic Book Day and it was pure madness. Some guy in a full Deadpool suit kept cutting the line and a kid grabbed the last Batman 89 issue right out of my hands. Since then I keep a notes app list of every back issue I'm hunting and check it twice before heading to any con or flea market. Does anyone else have a weird system for tracking their want list or am I the only one that intense about it?
