Guy at my shop said my pull list was just Batman books, so I counted and he was right
He looked at my stack at the register in Columbus and asked if I knew they made comics that weren't about a guy in a bat costume. I counted 14 titles and 11 had the word Batman somewhere on the cover, so now I grab one random indie book every trip just to prove him wrong. What's the one non-Big Two book you push on people who only read capes?

Does the guy at your shop actually read indie stuff or was he just giving you a hard time? I ask because most of the time the folks who crack that joke at my shop only pull Marvel and DC too, so its less about helping you branch out and more about them feeling smart. If he can't name three non-cape books himself then his opinion on your pull list is worth about as much as the free previews nobody takes. What did you grab for your first random indie pick anyway?
