Hot take: stop calling every random back issue a 'key'

I was at a show last weekend in Portland and saw a guy trying to sell a 1993 X-Force #1 for $40 as a 'key issue'. It's not. Not every first appearance or minor variant deserves that label. Has anyone else noticed new collectors overusing that word until it means nothing?

Remembered my friend spent like 3 months trying to sell this rare vintage jacket they found at a thrift store. Every time the price dropped it just sat there, then some random Instagram post called it a "Grail" and it sold in two hours. Honestly feels like whoever shouts loudest wins these days.
