I finally saw a grown man cry over a comic book cover last Saturday
I was at this little shop in Austin called Austin Books and this guy in his 40s found a beat up copy of Amazing Spider-Man #300 in a bargain bin. He actually teared up and told me he had been looking for that exact issue since he was 12. The owner only charged him $15 for it too. Has anyone else had a moment like that where a random find hit you right in the feels?

Honestly, I think getting that emotional over a comic book is a bit much.

Getting that emotional over a comic book" - right, because we're all just supposed to sit there like a brick wall when a character we've followed for years gets wrecked. It's called having a soul, Lee. You probably also think crying at a funeral is "a bit much" because the person was just a bag of bones and meat. Ngl, I cried like a baby when Tony Stark snapped and that's not something I'm ashamed of. If you're not emotionally invested in a story, why even bother reading it? That's like watching a football game and getting mad at people for cheering a touchdown.
