I finally stopped trying to read every single comic event.
For months I felt behind because I skipped the big summer crossover. Then a friend in my local group, Mike, said he only reads the tie-ins for characters he actually likes. That clicked for me. I was buying books just to be complete, not because I wanted them. Now I pick maybe two titles from an event and save about $25 a month. Anyone else get stressed trying to keep up with everything?

Man, that's the best way to do it. I used to buy every single tie-in for an event and end up with a stack of books I didn't even care about. Now I just follow the main Spider-Man title and maybe one other if the story looks cool. My wallet is way happier, lol.

My local shop owner, Greg, told me he sees more people just grabbing the event's trade paperback later if the story was any good.
