Spent $60 on a graded comic that turned out to be a fake
I bought a CGC graded Amazing Spider-Man #300 off eBay last year for $60. Thought I got a steal until I showed it to a dealer at a local convention in Toledo. He pointed out the ink was off and the label was a poor photocopy. Now I'm stuck with a display piece that I can't even sell. Has anyone else been burned by fake slabbed comics?

Did the dealer at least laugh at you before breaking the bad news? That comic would fit right in with my "funny money" collection, totally worthless but great for a sad story.
