That comic shop near me had a flood last Tuesday and it hit the back issue bins directly

Walked in and the owner was just standing there holding a dripping wet copy of Batman #428. He told me they lost about 200 books, mostly from the 90s, but I still felt bad for the guy. Anyone else have a shop go through something like this lately?

Did he at least try to bag and board the wet ones or just give up on the whole pile?

Wait, THREE HUNDRED comics? And he just threw them all in a pile without even checking if the bag was heavy? That's like, I would've been crying right there on the floor.
