That time I waited 45 minutes for a signed comic just to watch the guy drop it
I used to camp out at conventions for hours to get signatures from artists, but after I stood in line at ECCC last year and the creator fumbled my book onto a wet floor, I just mail stuff in now with a prepaid return label. Has anyone else switched to mail-in signings after a bad in-person experience?

Buddy of mine saw his favorite character get beat down at a panel and had to step out for a minute. He came back with red eyes and just said "it got real in there.

I read about how one of the voice actors actually had to take a break during the recording because even they got choked up over that scene. It's wild when something you know is fictional still hits you that hard, like your brain just forgets it's a story for a second. Did anyone else at the panel seem really shaken up too?
