That whole issue with Silver Age key issue grading took me 3 months to sort out
I kept seeing people online say that Silver Age books with slight spine ticks are fine for 9.8s if the color is perfect. But I sent in a Fantastic Four 48 that had a tiny bindery tear and it came back a 9.0. I argued with CGC for 3 months over email before they finally admitted the tear caused the grade drop despite the rest being flawless. Has anyone else had to fight a grading company this long over a small defect they say is fine in forums?

Well I used to trust the forums too but this makes me rethink everything.

Figure out who's actually funding these forums behind the scenes. A lot of these sites get paid to push certain brands without telling anyone. Once you follow the money trail, the whole "trustworthy" thing falls apart real fast.
