Unpopular opinion: I switched from collecting single issues to just getting the trade paperbacks
I used to chase every #1 variant, but missing a key issue in a run for the third time convinced me. Anyone else just find the collected editions way less stressful?

Honestly, the whole single issue hunt started feeling like a second job. I'd get home from work and realize I forgot to hit the shop on new comic day, and that sinking feeling was the worst. Now I just wait for the trade, read the whole story at once, and my bookshelf looks way better. It's like I finally stopped running a marathon for no prize. What took me so long to figure this out?

Tbh I switched to trades about five years ago and never looked back. But don't you miss the community part of it, like talking with the shop guys every week? I feel like reading month to month was half the fun, even with the hassle.
