Vent: Got mocked for buying single issues, not trades
Went to a local shop meetup in Portland last week and this guy laughed at my pull list, said single issues are for suckers who like ads. I get that trades are cleaner to store but there's something about reading issue 47 the week it drops and sharing theories before the arc finishes. Anyone else feel like the trade-only crowd misses that?}

Honestly, the "suckers who like ads" thing kind of hits for me. I used to chase weekly drops too, but then I realized I was paying more for less story and a bunch of filler pages. Waiting for the trade means I get the whole arc in one go, no cliffhanger frustration, and it actually fits on my shelf without looking like a mess.
