A dive supervisor in Aberdeen told me my decompression habit was lazy

Honestly, I always ran my tables a bit shallow on the last stop to save gas. Last month, this old supervisor watching me off the dock in Aberdeen pulled me aside and said, 'You're cutting 3 minutes that your body will bill you for later.' He showed me his logbook with two hits from the 80s and how he still feels it in his knees. It hit different because he wasn't scolding me, just pointing at the math. Anyone else ever had a vet correct a small shortcut that you'd been doing for years, and did you actually stick with the change?

Those vets log hits like scars, yours just hasn't bled yet.
