Band mask bumps on a rusty hull, my air knife trick saved the job

Spent last Tuesday chopping growth off a barge in San Pedro and kept scratching the paint with my standard scraper. Swapped to a worn air knife nozzle at 90 psi and the barnacles lifted clean without gouging. Anyone else run a spare nozzle for tight spots under fenders, or is that just me?
