Found a quick fix for a foggy mask in cold water

I was on a job in Puget Sound last week, and my mask kept fogging up every 20 minutes, which was a real pain during the inspection. I remembered an old trick about using a tiny drop of baby shampoo, rubbed in and rinsed, and it worked perfectly for the whole dive. Has anyone else found a good anti-fog method that holds up in really cold conditions?

Used a little bit of toothpaste on a dry mask once, rubbed it around and rinsed it off. Worked just as well as the shampoo trick for me in cold water.

Real pain during the inspection" seems a bit much. It's just a foggy mask.

That "real pain" bit is exactly the kind of overstatement ross.river is talking about, you see it everywhere now.
