Our standard dive plan format needs a real update, not just small tweaks
Most guys seem fine with the old templates, but they miss key risks like sudden weather shifts. I had to call off a job because the plan didn't account for quick wind changes.

Last month at Catalina we added a 3-hour weather buffer and it saved the dive.

Ever wonder what happens when you don't add enough time? A buddy of mine planned a short buffer off La Jolla last year and had to cancel everything when a squall rolled in early. They spent the whole afternoon watching the rain from shore.
