Spent 4 hours fighting a flange bolt in 60 feet of water before my tender asked if I checked the other side
Last Tuesday I was down at the intake near the old paper mill in Bellingham, torching and beating on a seized 3/4 inch bolt on a pump flange while my air ran low twice. My tender gets on the comms and says real calm, have you looked at the backside of that flange, and sure enough the matching nut was just sitting there loose the whole time. How long did it take you guys to learn to walk the whole job before you start swinging tools down there?
