Had a five-day pipeline inspection gig off the coast of Louisiana where the vis was crystal clear, currents were mild, and every single weld we needed to check was right where the surface team said it would be, which has never happened to me before or since - has anyone else had a perfect week like that where nothing went sideways?

Exactly the kind of thing that makes you realize how rare it is when everything lines up. Feels like most days are just managing little problems, but then you get that one perfect stretch and it reminds you how good the system can be when nothing breaks.

Heard about a buddy who had three whole days without a single IT ticket, and he was actually suspicious something was wrong. Then everything crashed on day four, so I guess the universe balances out.
