The day I stopped fighting with my drysuit zipper
After 8 years of wrestling with sticky zippers on cold mornings, I started rubbing a bar of beeswax along the teeth before every dive. Sounds too simple, but it cut my prep time from 5 minutes to about 30 seconds. Anyone else got a weird fix that just works?

Tried something similar with my car door lock last winter when the keyhole froze solid. Rubbed a crayon on it after watching some YouTube hack. Worked perfect for about three weeks until I realized I'd been using a green crayon and it stained the whole handle. Had to explain to my mechanic why my driver's door looked like a kindergartner got bored.

Wait, a green crayon? Like you just grabbed any crayon out of a box and jammed it in your keyhole? That's next level, man. I've got a kid and I know for a fact those things are mostly wax and pigment - you basically dyed your door handle with art supplies. At least beeswax is clear and doesn't make your drysuit look like a craft project gone wrong.
