Client said my invoice was 'too clean' and now I add more detail
Had a business owner tell me my line item for a Windows reinstall looked too simple, like I was hiding something. Started listing every driver update and backup step with a small charge each. Has anyone else padded their invoices with extra breakdowns just to keep clients from questioning the total?
