Found a weird fix for random USB dropouts using electrical tape
Been fighting this issue for months where my keyboard would cut out for a split second during gaming. Tried new cables, updated drivers, even replaced the motherboard battery. Finally noticed the USB plug had a tiny bit of wiggle in the port. Wrapped a thin layer of electrical tape around the plug to make it fit snug and it hasn't dropped a single connection in 2 weeks now. Anyone else run into loose port issues that a simple shim fixed?

Motherboard battery" isn't really a USB fix though.

Props to you for sticking with it and finding a fix though, that's a real pain in the butt to deal with. I know how frustrating random USB drops can be when you're in the middle of something.
