Honestly, how do you deal with a coworker who constantly questions your repair decisions?

Being direct IS key in these situations. I had a guy at my old shop who would ALWAYS ask why I replaced a part instead of just cleaning it. Like, one time with a fuel pump, he insisted it could be salvaged, but the diagnostics CLEARLY showed it was shot. I stood my ground and explained the voltage readings ONCE. After that, I just pointed to the work order and kept moving. It saves your sanity and gets the job done right.

Depends on the shop honestly. Some guys ask because they genuinely want to learn, not just to hassle you. Cutting off every question right away can make you seem like you have something to hide. I get it's annoying if it's constant, but a quick chat builds way more trust than just pointing at a paper. Not every question is a challenge to your skills.

Gotta be direct with them sometimes. They might mean well, but constantly second-guessing your calls shows they don't trust your skills. It sounds exhausting and is a total waste of time for everyone. You know your work, so just stand firm and explain your reasoning once if you have to.
