Hot take: Bought a $30 magnetic screw tray and it's the best thing in my bag now.

I used to waste so much time looking for tiny screws that rolled away, but this thing holds everything in place on a curved laptop chassis. Anyone have a good alternative for organizing different screw types?

My old boss lost a screw in a keyboard once, maxm50.

People make it sound like a lost screw is a national emergency. It's a keyboard, not a heart monitor. Just tip it over and shake it out. The screw probably fell on the floor and got kicked under a desk. No need for special trays or a full-scale search party.

Honestly, I just use a cheap ice cube tray from the dollar store. It keeps all the different screw sizes separated and nothing rolls away. Works just as well for a fraction of the price.
