I always thought a dead power supply was a dead power supply, but a weird flicker on a Dell OptiPlex 3020 changed my mind.

Is it really that serious? A flicker could just be a loose cable or a bad monitor. I wouldn't jump to blaming the power supply yet.

Nah, but a flicker can be the first sign of a bigger problem. You really want to wait for it to just die?
